I’ve always had a burning ambition to one day own and operate a business. My twenty years of experience in senior finance roles and an unwavering inner drive to help others achieve great things have led me to creating Alucro Consulting.

Who is Alucro?

Alucro Consulting is a business and financial consulting services firm. We specialise in strategic finance and mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on the SME market in and around Melbourne, Australia.

Alucro Consulting helps SME’s improve the bottom line. We do this by providing detailed analysis and modelling of your business that helps identify operational and strategic gaps and opportunities for improvements.

Why now?

2020 has presented unprecedented challenges for all of us. At a personal level, it has tested the resilience of our physical and mental health, challenged us financially and professionally and is fundamentally changing the way we function as a society.

And its impact on small and medium sized enterprise is no less dramatic. Thousands of small businesses have either permanently or temporarily ceased operations. Others that are able to continue operations are having to access federal government assistance in the form of Job Keeper and other support packages, just to stay afloat.

So, why in the midst of one of the most devastating pandemics would we launch a business and financial consulting company?

At a time when there is so much uncertainty and change in the economy and the way we do business, I believe that strategic finance has an important role to play in helping small business recover and emerge from COVID in a strong position.

Strategic finance encompasses a number of financial disciplines including financial/scenario modelling and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, management accounting and reporting among other things. The forecasting and predictive nature of strategic finance helps business owners and managers quickly understand the impact of changes occurring in the economy, in markets, to operations or other critical business drivers.

With the insights and analysis strategic finance provides, managers are better able to make short and long term decisions. Strategic Finance can provide detailed information relating to cashflow, revenue and expenses, profit and loss and balance sheet outcomes.
